It's Thanksgiving Break!!! We've been playing the SIMS nonstop all weekend, lol. Somehow it always comes back to the SIMS. I'm resolved to make a dent in this big ol' book today, though!
Next up for me off the 850 book list is Ghost. While this book isn't explicitly named on the list, other books by Jason Reynolds are. I picked Ghost because it was on The Great American Read a few summers ago, and it sounds like it *really* speaks to kids. Plus the whole National Book Award thing.
Rereading Pride and Prejudice has made me *really* want to watch the 2007 film and/or the Lizzie Bennett diaries again. I love this story so much 💚💚💚
It's Saturday, so you know what that means... Another low light tea and book post! lol
Next up off the 850-book-list: Best Man by Richard Peck. Which they apparently are protesting because the wedding in question was a m-m wedding. You can betcha I'll put putting in in everyone's hands! Plus probably move it to the humor section, because boy is this one funny!
I am *really* enjoying this graphic novel adaptation of one of my all-time favorite classics. It's amazing how the team captured the essence of each character so perfectly, even as they updated them for the 21st century. Love love LOVE!!
